** Installation with the Installer **
*************************************
The coL GUI 2006 comes with an automated Installer, which is the preferred way to install the GUI. Simply double click the "Install.exe" and chose which GUI version you like to install. Then click the "Browse"-Button to tell the Installer where your Steam Account Folder is located. Then click "Install" and a couple seconds later the coL GUI should be installed.

--IMPORTANT--
The Microsoft .NET Framework Version 2.0 must be installed if you want to use the coL GUI 2006 Installer. Many Programs need the .NET Framework to work, so it is very likely that you have it already installed. If not, copy the following URL and paste it into your Address-bar of your Browser and press Enter.

Make sure to copy and paste the complete Address (it's pretty long) and that no spaces are in the address or you will receive a Browser error (Page not Found).

** Manual Installation **

If you have no .NET Framework installed and don't intend to install it, you can also install the coL GUI 2006 manually. Below is the Folder Structure to know which file you need to install. (check out the Screenshots to know which version you prefer)

--NOTE--
In every GUI zip file is a "README_FIRST.txt" included with further instructions and informations, so make sure to read it!


Folder Structure
----------------
- alternative_backgrounds
  "bright" is the alternative background for the bright GUI
  "dark" is the alternative background for the dark GUI
  Use the file that fit your ingame resolution! (640 = 640x480, 800 = 800x600, 1024 = 1024x768)
  Read the included readme.txt file for further instructions!
  
- gui
  This is the actual coL GUI 2006.
  Make sure that you use the correct file that match your ingame resolution!
  Example: col_dark_800.zip = coL GUI dark version for 800x600 .. and so on
  Please read the included "readme_first.txt" very carefully to know how to install the GUI and to know more about the unique features of the coL GUI that no other GUI has!
  If you have difficulties to install the GUI get a look at the coL forum (Counter-Strike section) where i have posted a Step-by-Step install instruction!
  
- gui_screenshots
  This is a collection of ingame screenshot to give you an idea how the GUI will loook like, so that you can easier decide which version you want to use.
